Facilities Operations

The Office of Facilities Operations serves the College community as the primary resource for all facility-related needs and concerns.

  • It handles routine, emergency, and preventative maintenance needs of all building systems;
  • provides landscaping, snow removal, care of athletic fields, and grounds equipment maintenance;
  • manages receiving and warehousing, transportation services, and event set-ups and moves;
  • supports day-to-day custodial needs and provides emergency custodial coverage;
  • provides daily mail and package delivery;
  • supports campus recycling and sustainability efforts;
  • provides campus pest and critter control;
  • supports special functions on campus and within the Oberlin city community;
  • works with and supports the efforts of the Environmental Health and Safety office; and
  • coordinates efforts with the Facilities Planning and Construction office regarding capital improvement projects.
