Human Resources

Human Resources is responsible for Oberlin College employee recruitment, allocating benefits, and internal working relations. It is divided into two main offices, the Office of Employee Relations and the Office of Payroll and Benefits.

Office of Employee Relations

This office handles the hiring process, compliance with employment regulations, the College’s labor/management relationship, employee policies and procedures, international employment, and employee programs, including wellness initiatives.

Office of Payroll and Benefits

This office manages employee benefits such as medical and life insurance, tuition remission, and retirement plans, and ensures the timely payment of hourly and salaried employees.
