Reunion Gift Committees

Reunion Gift Committees consist of leaders from each class who organize a gift from their class to Oberlin. Committees consist of 20 to 30 individuals; members

  • make a financial commitment to the reunion gift;
  • attend committee meetings;
  • participate in the identification and evaluation of donor prospects;
  • assist in setting goals;
  • personally contact a number of classmates for Annual Fund gifts, outright gifts in support of the 50th Reunion Projects, and retained life income gifts or bequests; and
  • encourage participation in the class gift and attendance at the reunion.

Class agents and the class president are asked to serve on their respective committees to help the committee coordinate with the Alumni Association.
