Alumni Recruiting Network

Members of the Alumni Recruiting Network (ARN) assist the admissions office by meeting prospective students in their geographic area and by assisting the admissions office with college fairs, parties for potential and admitted students, and interview days. Admissions coordinators serve as liaisons between the admissions office and volunteers around the country; their primary responsibilities include finding recruiters to represent Oberlin at college fairs, finding recruiters to interview prospective students, and informing the ARN of who is assigned to these duties. Alumni recruiters represent the admissions office at events around the country—such as previews, interview days, individual interviews, or admitted student receptions—meeting prospective students and highlighting why Oberlin is a special, distinctive college.
