Career Support Committee (Alumni)

The Career Support Committee provides guidance and support to the Career Center in its efforts to increase interactions among students, faculty, and alumni for career-related issues and to facilitate communication between the Career Center and the Alumni Association. The committee works to develop and strengthen a global Oberlin network and enhances regional programs informing other alumni committees and regional alumni organizations about opportunities to assist in career-related programs.

Together with the Career Center, the committee identifies opportunities for alumni to assist each other and current students through programs such as the annual Alumni-Student networking event during Alumni Council Weekend, facilitating winter-term opportunities, identifying internship opportunities, addressing student housing needs, connecting alumni mentors to students, arranging alumni talks and workshops, and providing support for job seekers and prospective employers.
