Educational Plans and Policies Committee (A&S)

The Educational Plans and Policies Committee serves as an advisory committee to the College Faculty and the College Faculty Council (CFC) on educational issues and has specific duties as charged by the College Faculty, including the completion of regular reviews of all departments and programs, establishing and abolishing programs and instructions (subject to personnel decisions by CFC), and approving of substantial changes in major requirements. Other issues that have been delegated to or initiated by EPPC in the past include grading policy and practices, class scheduling, student access to curriculum, incomplete policies, course size, graduate study, and off-campus programs. In addition, the CFC consults EPPC on priorities in additions to staff, and occasionally other matters related to the curriculum.
